You are required to file for CBAM if :

  • You are an EU-established company importing goods from outside the EU.

  • Your imports fall under specific sectors: iron, steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers, electricity, or hydrogen, including raw materials, certain precursors and downstream components.

  • Your total annual imports of iron, steel, aluminium, cement, fertilisers exceed 50 tonnes or you import any amount of electricity or hydrogen.
